Is it okay to drive at high rpm's with a 2009 honda civic si? - is it okay to drive high

.... Why the stringent requirements of the system --

wouldnt cause harm to the engine at high RPM's?

The engine was designed to make maximum power min at 7,800 rpm. The specifications are high speed, because the engine is a very small displacement (2.0 liters) and has 200 hp, you have to rev. While you do not lead to a "supported" 7800 rpm should be no problem. Twist of the engine in the 1 and 2 Gang do from time to time, what the car was developed. Min with maximum torque at 6100 rpm, which means that below this level, the rpm, the car is * not * very fast since it has to feel lug around 3000 pounds. One of my friends has one and is a very nice car. A Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo has a much more flexible and more powerful engine around the same price. Something to draw consideration.
Edit: I need to feel bad. How long does an engine is determined by the maintenance of the engine. The 2.0-liter Ecotec turbo can be as reliable as K20Z3. Min's commitment VTEC in just under 6,000 rpm mean that this is a little difficult Motor ... clearly designed to turn, so 's built to the situation under control. The turbo Ecotec is a well-developed * as it comes from the factory with 20 psi of boost too.

The engine was designed to withstand this and more.

They said that their maximum HP 7800, but can Rev It Up to 8300RPM. This is the point where the red line has its job cuts.

Even after a Hondata reflash the court outside the red line of 8600rpm was postponed, and there are many happy owners of years, which was no problem.

When engineers do things that you do something that can withstand much more than advertised in the newspaper.

Honda engines make bullets. They have 60 years. People about me made a valid point on cobalt, more power, but the Cobalt engine will not last long and a half longer than the Honda. keep the good things (full synthetic 5-30)

These levels are at max. In which it simply means that it develops its maximum power to 7600 rpm .. That is probably right on the red line and, of course, this could damage the engine. It develops a maximum power is in 6100th You'll probably approximately 2500 rpm at 65-70 mph

Yes, OK, start to 7000, when the engine is actually an F1 engines for street tune .. Valavier but the train is the same as F1, steel, titanium .. and up to rap and deduct 200 rpm per minute .. who say that your engine RPM max.
