I support Cancer Awareness, breast cancer, but why is the month of advertising Cancer Awareness? Many people suffer from all types of cancer today and took the family continues to suffer from leukemia and cancer of the pancreas. It seems that if a celebrity is diagnosed with cancer or died of cancer, the only way to raise awareness, will be published. Now, what has happened when Patrick Swayze, I am of pancreatic cancer is known to be safe this November (Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month) Does anyone agree?

One theory is that breast cancer survivors more than most of cancers if more people start support groups and an activist of the disease. Not many survivors of lung cancer. I feel a little of the cacophony of consciousness.

I think another factor to the amplitude of the NBCAM, in addition to work hard, very simple. The breasts are outside the body and are immediately recognized and highly visible symbol of femininity. Due to the high transparency and understanding of natural tits, this special occasion, receives much attention. Fortunately, advances in research on breast cancer will ultimately contribute to research in other cancers before.
Do not trivialize what, the chest or a direct comparison between the level of impact of two can have in one's life, but in terms of public awareness is a kind of campaign to save endangered species threatened with extinction. Very nice people who make things even more interesting, such as pandas and whales, including the attention of a lot more to say that the dwarf wedge mussel. Ultimately, I think NBCAM high level is an advantage. First, it is a frustration that is not given the same attention to other cancers understandable, but we also need to be careful that dilute the positive impact of NBCAM in all efforts in the implementation of more Cancer Awareness. He's good and bad, unfortunately. Capitalism is a double-edged sword, that's for sure.
As someone pointed out, however, individuals can (and should) take decisions to buy items pink ribbon through brokers who are known to maximize contributions to research and education, or work with organizations, not-for-real.
